I made further modifications to the E-Web Heavy Repeating Blaster model after some test prints in the latest ABS-Like Pro 2 resin. I needed to change the diameter of holes in the Tripod, which I attribute to differences in the shrinkage of the old ABS-Like + resin vs the new ABS-Like Pro 2. Full list of changes is below:
- Thickened the feet by .5mm
- Shortened canisters on bottom part of leg
- lengthened the conical parts on the underside of the base plate
- Recessed the cable mount on the bottom of the barrel
- Added details to the power box
- Removed material from the tripod, barrel and power box
- Printing in new, even more durable material
I am printing an initial run of 20 of these. I will be finishing and painting the entire run to sell. As of this writing, this is the printed part count so far:
Barrels: 21
Tripods: 16
Mounts: 20
Cradles: 36
Power Boxes: 0
I have the last batch of Tripods in the printer now, and the Power Boxes will follow. Here are some pics of prints and parts:
